# Gigstereo

> Gigstereo is a Colombian marketplace for event services: clients planning weddings, quinceañeras, birthdays, serenatas and corporate events find, compare and contact DJs, mariachis, photographers, videographers, live bands and other event professionals, and pay in Colombian pesos (COP) through Mercado Pago. Operated by OPTIMUSFLY S.A.S. from Medellín, Colombia.

## What clients can do

- Browse providers by category and city. Owner-verified profiles show photos, videos, prices and reviews. Most of the catalog is unclaimed directory listings (public business information; the business has not joined Gigstereo): they show no photos, prices or contact details until the owner claims and verifies them.
- Request quotes once, for free and without an account, at https://gigstereo.com/cotizar
- Message owner-verified providers through the platform.
- Book with a deposit paid through Mercado Pago and settle the balance with the provider.
- Leave reviews. A review tied to an accepted booking on the platform is marked verified and published automatically; other reviews go through moderation before they are published. Ratings and review counts include only published reviews. Providers can reply once per review.

## Fees

- Clients pay no service fee: they pay exactly the price the provider quotes.
- Providers publish a profile for free and pay a commission only when a booking is made: 5 % on the free Inicial plan, 2,5 % on the Pro and Destacado plans.
- Mercado Pago may charge its own processing fee to the provider.

## Where

Colombia. We maintain landing pages for 30 cities, among them Bogotá, Medellín, Cali, Barranquilla, Cartagena, Bucaramanga, Pereira, Manizales, Ibagué, Neiva, Montería, Tunja and the Medellín and Bogotá metro areas. The number of providers varies by city and is shown on each landing. Each provider sets their own travel radius.
