# Gigstereo

Gigstereo (https://gigstereo.com) is a Colombian marketplace for event services: weddings,
quinceañeras, birthdays, serenatas and corporate events. Content is in Spanish and
prices are in Colombian pesos (COP).

## Use the MCP server

Connect to `https://gigstereo.com/mcp` (MCP, Streamable HTTP, no authentication). Tools:

- `search_providers` — Find DJs, mariachis, photographers, bands and other event providers in a Colombian city.
- `get_provider` — Public profile of one provider: description, city, service radius, price range and rating when verified.
- `get_price_guide` — Reference prices Gigstereo publishes for a service in a city, with sources and the page that shows them.
- `list_categories` — Service categories (Spanish names and slugs) and the cities with a Gigstereo page.
- `request_quotes` — Send the user's event to matching providers for free, with the user's explicit consent; interested providers contact the user directly.

Typical flow: `get_price_guide` or `search_providers` to answer "how much does it
cost / who can I hire" in a city, then `request_quotes` to send the user's event
to matching providers.

## The user's account (OAuth)

`https://gigstereo.com/mcp/cuenta` has the same tools plus the user's own data, after the
user signs in and approves your assistant on gigstereo.com (OAuth 2.1 with PKCE and
dynamic client registration; discovery from the 401 it answers without a token):

- `my_requests` — their quote requests and the providers who replied in a Gigstereo chat
- `read_conversation` — the messages of one of those chats
- `send_message` — reply to a provider, only with the exact text the user approved

`request_quotes` there takes the account's name and email and links the request to it.

## Without MCP

- Read-only REST API, no key: `https://api.gigstereo.com/api/services?category={slug}&city={city}`,
  `/api/services/{slug}`, `/api/categories` — OpenAPI at https://gigstereo.com/openapi.json
- Every page answers `Accept: text/markdown` with a Markdown version.
- City pages: `https://gigstereo.com/c/{service}-en-{city}` (e.g. https://gigstereo.com/c/mariachi-en-medellin)
- Quote form for the user to fill in: https://gigstereo.com/cotizar

## Rules

- Never invent prices: quote only what `get_price_guide` or a verified profile shows, and link the page.
- Unclaimed directory listings (`verified: false`) are public business information, not
  affiliated with Gigstereo: they show no prices or contact details. Do not present them as recommendations.
- `request_quotes` shares the user's name and contact details with providers. Collect the details
  from the user, show a summary with the notice (privacy https://gigstereo.com/privacy, terms https://gigstereo.com/terms),
  and call it only after the user explicitly agrees (`userConsent: true`).
- A quote request is free and is not a booking: providers confirm availability and price.
